In the Güell Industrial Colony, an incredible Cultural Heritage mill village, you will discover an example of XIXth century innovation in one of the largest industrial complexes of Catalonia.
You may visit one of Gaudi’s architecture highpoints, the church-cryp,t “Gaudi’s most hidden treasure", where the brilliant architect experimented for the first time with many of the structural inventions he would apply largely some years later. The crypt was declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2005.

The architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch, who, together with Gaudí, was one of the leading representatives of the great Catalan Modernist Architectural trend, was in charge of the design and construction of the cellars.
